Abstract
The long reads produced by SMRT Sequencing combine with target-enrichment methods to create reference-free de novo assemblies of complex haplotypes that are highly accurate, imputation-free, and phased. While focusing on the most relevant genomic regions and still maintaining complete and uniform coverage, SMRT Sequencing generates kilobases of amplicons to deliver the most comprehensive view of the associated genes, variants and genotypes.

In this session we will give an overview of bioinformatics approaches for amplicon analysis (such as CCS and LAA) and discuss key applications.

CCS: Circular Consensus Sequence
LAA: Long Amplicon Analysis

Are you interested in learning how to handle long-read sequencing data?
